Excerpts from a Letter from Sean Studnicka to SPR, February 30, 2005

"I was sent to USP Florence from US Medical Center Springfield for having an unprofessional relationship with [name deleted]. I accept responsibility for being so dumb.

"Although FBOP staff there should've talked to their former co-workers who went from USMCFP Springfield to North Central FBOP Regional Officess to get me sent to a safer USP also in region as Florence, all FBOP staff bonded together & sent me to the most dangerous USP the FBOP has. I was at least sent here to be beat up by a prisoner.

"While repeatedly coming off antidepressants against staff wishes here, I was at repeatedly raped by Inmate [name deleted] - ex-Californian Serano now free to rape other inmates at USP Terre Haute, Indiana and abroad:

"When I'd asked staff here why he'd rape me when Staff & inmates here let him know I was HIV positive they said, 'Oh...well [name deleted] has a long time...' I now have [name deleted]'s HCV which is a double death sentence.

"Staff asked for any DNA & once told where it was in my cell I lived in alone, was a locked up crime scene, it vanished. Since the hospital which contracts to serivce rape kits to prisoners staff twisted a finger quickly in and out of my butt & the USP claims the test was inconclusive, I've sought a lie detector test to prove my case so I may receive rape counseling. No federal employee wishes to give it because they fear the testors testimony which is admissible in federal civil court as evidance."
