Survivor Stories

I was conspiritorily placed in a precarious position, due to legal actions against Utah Department of Corrections. I was subsequently placed in a facility for "Sex Offenders," even though I am not, or have ever been a sex offender. San Juan County Jail incarcerated me [out-placed state prisoners from Draper Prison]. Out of 34 prisoners, I was the only non-sexual offender there. A...guard placed me with a convicted rapist (6'3", 320 pounds) of boys. A 23 year old, John Rawlings is 21 years younger than me. Though, I didn't hesitate to complain, Rawlings was not removed from my cell till three physical/sexual attacks had insured. I additionally received injury to my right shoulder and two concussions, and what is permanent double vision, to my right eye.

I was assaulted in January [1994] and since received neither treatment nor any investigation of a meaningful nature....Department of Corrections has not only suppressed the matter, but threatens my approaching parole date.

My remedy was a 16 Day hunger strike and a "1983" action against Utah State Department of Corrections....I was transferred back to Draper, Feb. 1st.

I'm heterosexual.

I was knocked unconscious, I came to while being anally penetrated. He had me pinned on the floor. I struggled, he struck my head on floor, then tried to fondle me. I reached down, grabbed his testacles and squeezed. He lost interest screamed and withdrew from my rectum. I crawled away and began beating on door....Two attacks preceded this.
